I would never recommend this place to any parent for VPK!!! They are claiming having two teachers when they have only one; the director Aimeeliz says that she is one of the them, but in reality, she stays at her office while the other poor teacher is alone with 18-20 children, way above the requirements for ELC. For this reason, teachers do not last very long. I have spoken with many former employees and they all agree this is a very unprofessional environment. Please parents, do your research before registering the children. Look for preschools that are not in probation like this one; probation by ELC means that the children are not receiving the education standards they need for kindergarten. Go to ELC website and look first for Gold Seal Quality Care and, if you do not have any in your area, for a preschool that is not in probation. Your child education needs to be your priority over childcare if you want him to be successful in Kindergarten.
My daughter has been going there for a year and a half. I was so nervous about putting her in daycare with her so young but that was one of the best decisions i ever made. The staff is friendly and gets to know you on a personal level. My daughter would rather be there then come home with me sometimes. Shes always coming home showing me the new things she learned so i know they are not just letting her play with toys but are making it a learning experience!!
This Daycare has been one of the best ones i have seen yet, my child loves it and i sometimes feel they rather be there than at home. The staff is very friendly and they love to work with the children, the lunch is always a wonderful variety of spanish and american food and since it is family owned there is always a cozy feeling in the atmosphere. I also really like that although they are a church baised daycare they absolutly do not mix any religion with the daycare. i would highly recommend this child care facility to any parent that asks me, these people do not only care for the safety of each child but also the personal well being of each child individually. thank you alpha Learning Center and staff and a special thanks to the greatest vpk teachers i have seen, because of you two my child has been very successful.
