Bay Colony Children's House

Hello, all who are showing intrest in possibly choosing Bay Colony Children's House as the place for you child to learn, grow, be safe and be loved.
My son is a new student at Bay Colony Children's House and so far every thing has been super fantastic. My son and I are very attached to each other and It has been hard to separate the two of us untill know. This morning my son ran right into school and did not turn back to cry or hang on my leg. This is upsetting for me of course because he is growing further from my loving arms and into another lady's loving arm's one day.
My son has been very sheltered and is only 4 with, attachment issues, picky eating tendencies, and make's up sickness to avoid confrontation.
I am so Thankful that when I leave my son at Bay Colony Childrens House in Dickinson Texas that he is completely comfortable with his environment.
My son alway's tell's such wonderful stories of his funfilled day's at school and it makes me so happy that I smile from ear to ear and before we go to sleep we are content and sleep well.

Great daycare to take your children too. The staff is very friendly, and will work with you if you ever need help with certain scheduling issues. They always have nice activities going on for the parents to join and get to know one another. For example, Muffins with mom this past mothers day. It was very nicely decorated and great snacks and breakfast for us to share! I love how they keep the students on a schedule and they really do prepare them for school. The teachers work with the students and its just amazing the things my three year old is learning. She can count to 100, knows her alphabet very well, understands shapes and colors, just a few examples. Again great daycare that I would highly recommend.

Our experience with Bay Colony Children's House has been of excellent service. I have 2 children ages 20 months and 4 years. The have tremendously excel by all means. My children love their teachers, my child's toddler teacher has been in the same room for almost 5 years. she is loving and caring and makes my child feel welcomed every day!
She is excellent when it comes to potty training, my son is not even 2 and he is almost potty trained.
My 4 year old teacher has also been with BCCH for 4 years. my daughter is already reading and knows all the letters by sound and name. I have a great confidence that she will be well prepared when she goes to school. I highly recommend Bay Colony Children's House over other centers in the area. Prices are very competitive and over all, the care and education my children are getting is priceless!
Don't let other places fool you with their state of the art facilities, Bay Colony Children's House is a down to earth place, with excellent management and teachers that care for your children.

I have 2 kids that attend this daycare (currently) for the past year. I initially placed my children here due to decent prices and close distance to my home. Due to these decisions, my kids had to suffer from this without my knowledge. First off, they have a VERY HIGH turnover rate with their staff. My 3 year old has a new teacher in her class almost every other day. Just within the past 2 months, she has had over 6 teachers. Second, snacks are apparently not covered in their tuition. I am FORCED to buy snacks for not only my child, but the whole class; and get this: they give ME the list of what they want me to buy. Completely disrespectful and absurd. And the worst part: my child has a disability, and when I first approached them with this topic, they were more then willing to work and learn from me. BIG LIE. They refused to work with her disability and coping steps to help me. They rarely have their food menu calendar or curriculum on the board so parents can see, and the communication between the staff and the owner/director is none-existent. I would LOVE to remove my kids from this horrible, wretched, so called "daycare", but due to my financial situation and lack of daycares within my location, I am forced to stay here until there are other openings at other facilities. Concluding, I HIGHLY SUGGEST THAT YOU LOOK ELSEWHERE FOR A BETTER DAYCARE for your child. They don't deserve your hard-earned money nor does your child need to suffer.
