Dickinson ISD Gator Academy

The Dickinson ISD (DISD) Gator Academy is designed to create a safe, wholesome environment where children may enjoy growing and learning in a nurturing, caring atmosphere. We foster children’s positive self image and allow them to become confident in their ability to learn. The program offers a curriculum committed to establishing and maintaining a positive and stable environment for all children involved. Your children will learn more about themselves, others, and the world around them. This program is sensitive to the needs of the children in all areas of development: social, physical, emotional and intellectual. The curriculum is in accordance with the criteria for accreditation by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), the highest national accreditation available for child care providers. Children ages 6 weeks to 5 years of age will all actively participate in learning and exploration.
