The quality of the teachers is not consistent. Unfortunately, the teachers are not all warm and friendly to the children. You have to ask around and request the best teacher available for your grade. There are some amazing teachers. The assistant teachers are also very inconsistent. Some are wonderful and some are just there for the pay check. It is the sad part of the daycare. But if you end up with a great teacher/assistant teacher then your child will be very happy. The program is amazing. The parents are great. There is a focus on education and sports activities. My child has learned so much and for the most part has enjoyed his experience at the JCC. The swimming lessons with the 3 & 4 year old program is a big plus. The extra curricular activities are also great. Nap time can be an issue if your child does not sleep. EVERYONE gets a nap time. I think it's a bit much. If your child does not nap it's up to the teacher to make your child comfortable and keep busy. Thus, the teacher matters the most. Must get the best teachers by asking around prior to being assigned to a class.
