Sandy & Donna's Little Rascals Daycare Center

My son was put in this daycare after my husband and I both took a tour. We thought that the place was very nice, lots of toys and even a little outside playground. Boy, were we wrong!! After a couple months my son was starting to enjoy it, they placed him in a smaller classroom since this was his first daycare ever at (2 years old). He did very well in the smaller group and the lady in charge, Diane was amazing with the children.
Shortly after he was in there, the owner would say "we need to put him with kids his age". Dad and I agreed. It wasn't the kids my son had a problem with, it was the teacher. She is not very compassionate in any way shape or form. My son has desperation anxiety and that past weekend watched his uncle have a heart attack and mommy perform CPR on him. When he was taken out if that room, my husband proceeded to explain when people get hurt the ambulance comes. The next morning I had to be at work early, when my son woke up mom was gone. He clinged more to his little blanket than ever! Daycare decided it was ok with me to take his blanket away completely. After all had happened the previous weekend and I had stated many times NO do not take his comfort zone away while he's still scared of the situation from that weekend. They proceeded to anyway.
Later in the week my son would trough the biggest fits to NOT go to dayxare after the past couple months he would be excited to go!! We have recorded the past couple times dropping him off and picking him up. Somethig suspicious was going on and they weren't saying what. My son would come home saying he was getting hit by his teachers made it very clear it was not the kids. He pointed out which teacher and when I asked for Mrs. Diane they told me my son was too old for that group anymore. (Also said other things that threw up red flags to pick my son up NOW!) when I snuck in on daycare, I parked my car down the street and walked there. One teacher was telling my son to put all the toys away, he couldn't play with them. While others were playing with those same toys. The other lady told one of the toddlers not to play with my son, in the little 2 minute window I stood there watching. When one teacher looked up and made eye contact she had the "oh sh*t" look on her face. I said to her yes I heard what you said to my son. I grabbed my son, signed him out and the other teacher was only concerned about when we were taking my son out of childcare!! I turned around to leave, furious at that particular teacher. I saw a little girl, 3 1/2 in the infants room helping feed the infants. Ironic how she can be in that room while my son was told NO he couldn't be in the room with mrs. Diane who he only took well too.
I would not recommend this daycare to my worst enemy. Please do yourself a favor and seek another childcare facility. My son now has more issues sleeping than I've ever seen! He was fully potty trained BEFORE daycare now he wears a pull up again. Also, very disappointing! Mrs. Diane is the best and I hope she retires from here and opens her a daycare at her home. The others are not good at all. Please reconsider this daycare facility. They will scar your children in more ways than one.
