I've had the exact opposite experience with Curley's as the other reviewer, especially in the baby room. My daughter started there as a baby and she and my husband and I have absolutely loved all of the staff at Curley's. The infant teachers were wonderful, they have been there for many years and are extremely dedicated to the children. They are constantly interacting with the babies, they are not just there to babysit. That particular side of the room does not have a window, however it is painted a bright peachy color and there's lots of decorations on the wall to keep the room nice and bright. The older babies have a window in their side of the classroom, and they are always busy doing things such as our projects sensory table bubbles outside play reading stories and singing songs. The toddler room as awesome as well the two teachers that work in there are very committed to the children and my daughter learned so much from the toddler teachers as far as her language and potty training and socialization skills. Preschool has been awesome, my daughter really loves Miss Patty and Miss Laura and all the preschool teachers. They have definitely gotten her ready for kindergarten. I really can't believe that somebody had a bad experience in the infant room at Curley's. That's why decided to write this review. Because the teachers there have been committed for over 10 years each to the babies in that room and every other parent that I've spoken to says the baby room is the best room in the whole center and it's the best baby room in the town of Colchester. Don't hesitate to take your baby to Curley's. They are awesome!

My son went to day care at 3 months and loved it. The staff loved him, he was always happy, and he made great progress in development. When we moved a few months later we had to switch day cares. I chose this one. My son (6 months old at the time) HATED it. He was NEVER happy there, he was always crying when I dropped him off and picked him up. I felt like the infant teacher was there to watch them, feed them, and change them - but never interacted with them. There was one room for the infants, it was always dark and there were no windows or sunlight. I left within only a few weeks. I chose a different day care in the area. I was worried he would have the same reaction and that I had made a rash decision. No. He loved it at the new day care. The staff immediately loved my son and he loved going to day care. Although Curley's is a nice, large facility - I did NOT think the infant room was a good choice.
