My son attended New Hope Learning Center from the age of 3 months until he was 3 years old. If not for my new job out of state, he would still be in attendance. As a first time working mom, I chose this center over others for several reasons. First, the owner, Mrs. Nelly, TRULY has a heart for children. She is a mother herself and she treats the children like family members. She really does know the temperament of each child there. She could tell me, with specifics, if my son had a good day or a not so good day. She would offer advise on how to make his day go better. I especially liked when she shared her personal experiences with motherhood. Did I mention that she is an excellent cook? She often cooks the children's meals herself. In addition, the center is clean, bright, secure, solidly constructed, has good hours for working parents (6AM-6PM) and it is three star rated (highest rating). Most of her staff are long time employees who are CPR certified. I can vouch for the teachers in the ladybug, caterpillar and busy bee classrooms because my child advanced through these programs while there. They are very involved with the children and they know your child's individual needs. I felt that my child was cared for in a nurturing, Christian environment. They engaged the children through songs, dance, art and other hands-on educational experiences. I can't express the peace of mind that a parent has when you know that your child is in good hands while you are away. I give credit to New Hope for helping my son develop into a toddler who is excited about learning new things in fun ways. New Hope Learning Center, Mrs. Nelly and her staff were a blessing to us.
