I am currently an employee of Generations. They do lie! I am currently seeking a new job. They threaten the employment of their workers to tell the parents only what they want to hear. Management covers up mistakes they made. They used to be all over the news when a man was arrested for molesting children (an employee). Child fevered 104.3 and parent was called 3 hrs after fever was noticed. Child was hit in the face with a chair and instead of telling the parent they pushed it under the rug...The child told the parent and the center said the child has no bruise (she did and the parent had to take pictures-doctors said she had swelling), Generations still just pushed it under the rug. A site director was reported to management for picking up a child and screaming in her face but was not punished because she is well loved. Another was grabbing children by the arm and dragging them to the hall to scream at them and again was not punished. More then 2/3 of the employees stoners and Generations refuses to drug test because they don't want to lose to many employees. It is not a place I want to continue to work or recommend for parents. They do cover things up and this is just to warn parents to protect their children and find a different daycare.

bad child care

Over the years Generations child care has been in the news on and off. My stepdaughter goes to the Fairport location against my husband’s will. Her mother sends her there and because he does not want her there she fills out the paperwork and created the account. He has asked for copies of this paper work and she refuses to give it to him. Even though he doesn’t want his daughter there, he is still required to pay for it. He has asked for copies of the bills and she refuses. Generation’s mission statement claims they will not take sides and they are a safe environment, yet they refuse to give him any information on his daughters account: When she goes there, who picks her up, a copy of the contract, who are on the emergency contact card, and copies of the bills. He has sent them a copy of his divorce agreement showing they have joint custody and he is entitled to copies of all his daughters’ records and they still refuse and told him to get a court order against them and then they will. On top of that, they have lied to him. They said they will not give him copies of his daughter’s bills because her sister is on the account and they can’t give that out. Susan Grant and Jeanie Harris have sent him emails saying their system cannot separate the children’s accounts and that is why he can’t get a copy of the bills from them. If they will lie to him about something as simple as the bills and take sides over this, who knows what they will lie to other parents about to cover any errors they may make. I am horrified at their business practices and the public has the right to know.
