Hayes Child Development Center

Our great-granddaughter has attended this facility since October 2013 and we have nothing but great things to say about the facility. She had never been in daycare before and dearly loves it. She even asks to go on the weekends. Her dad is a single father stationed in Ft.Lewis. Everyone has bent over backwards to help him and the baby. Her teachers, Ms. Doris & Ms. Pam are outstanding!! In the short time she has been there, she has learned so much. The administrators & teachers are so good about keeping her Florida grandparents & great grandparents informed of what she is learning and her progress. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone!!

AAAa who ever wrote this must be talking about another center, because none of that is possible. Some teachers have worked at Hayes for over ten years, and they all have a Degree or CDA. There is no owner of the center as it is on a college campus. The center provides Early Head Start/Head Start, and supports students on campus. This means 80% of the clientele is DSHS, which doesn't include making money. This center is not a "child care" center, it is a Child Development Center where children have individualized goals, currriculum, assessments, referrals, and parents receive yearly conferences. Teachers educate and support parents, students and the community. I wish more centers worked as hard as the teachers here did, because the quality of "child care" would increase in our community and the reputation of early learning might become more professional.Hayes has a great reputation in the community and I encourage everyone to go visit. I would never put my children at any other center, because the office staff and teachers are amazing!

This is a big cover up scam....it looks great at first untill you find out the staff is poorly trainned...some workers have no trainning or just the bear minnimum....I have seen rats in the building...the owner has no compassion for the kids. She is just in it to collect money...(smile in ur face type) some staff have been accused of touching the children sexually. There is little to no parent teacher contact...oh and if ur low income it doesn't get better for you...once they know ur on state assistance u might as well be al quida.. I took my son out of this center because I seen his teacher grab a child by the hair...I hope someone else responds to what's going on because places like this should be shut down!!!
