Victory Child Development Center

I love this school. The teachers and staff are fabulous. I have 2 kids that attended the school before we moved and they came along way with there help. I love how friendly everyone is.

Look up the school by their license number: C870150. This will tell you a lot about how well they comply with the standards of schools in Pinellas County. Not too great. They are non-compliant on some serious stuff. Just a heads up.

My child currently attends PM aftercare at Victory Child care in Kenneth City Florida. The teachers are nice and the children seem to enjoy themselves, but they are very relaxed and lack structure with their pick up procedure. They do not check ID's or require parents to sign out when the child is being picked up. When I brought this concern up with Nicole Peterson (the Director) she said they are audited monthly and catch that kind of stuff then. I also asked if all of the teachers caring for the children were certified and she could not give me a firm answer. I started to do some research and found that Victory had a lot of non-compliant issues. I don't think the school is bad, just that there are too many people working there that are more concerned with hanging out with friends and more concerned about their own kids/relatives that attend Victory than about all of the children overall. The front office is always empty when I am there late afternoon and if Rose is in the office she is on her cell phone and there is no sign out book available or she says its with the class. I go to the class and its not there either. This is a concern for me. If they are so carefree with this procedure what other procedures are they not following through with?
