Annie, thank you for your feedback. At Children's Discovery Academy we truly value feedback from each and every family. We hope it will ease your frustration knowing the teachers we employ have a post-secondary education in Early Childhood Education and thousands of hours of experience working in the industry. The majority of teachers we are lucky enough to employ have been with us for over 10 years. Our teachers' years of service are proudly displayed on our website here: http://www.childrensdiscoveryacademy.com/about-us/meet-the-staff.html.
We are fortunate to be entrusted by hundreds of parents each day as we watch over their children. In order for parents to feel like a part of our classrooms we try to share as much positive information about their child while at our school. We have an open door policy and parents are invited into the classroom whenever they choose. Each teacher is available to speak over the phone when parents call throughout the day. Parents are encouraged to speak with teachers during drop off or pick-up times. We also email parents a summary of their child's day including notes about daily activities, naps, meals. We even attach photos! When negative behaviors arise, parents are asked to collaborate with teachers to find a solution. If the behaviors persist or compromise the quality of care we provide to children in our care, parents and teachers will meet to determine if alternative services or care are needed. At Children's Discovery Academy we really value parents as partners in their child's education.

Many of the teachers are young and have limited experience. A lot of the teachers and aides will be fake and sugar coat many things and incidents, so a lot of things are swept under the rug. They care more about keeping your business and money than telling you the truth.
