looking for a daycare? Keep looking!!! These people have scammed my friend out of hundreds of dollars. They have zero patience for your children. If your 2, 3, 4 year old has a little fit, they get thrown out. They take toys right out of the kids hands, that sure wouldn't make me happy, especially as an adult. That is not how you work with children. It sure looks great but I would do your research and move on. They are short staffed. Short staffed, and short with your kids. They also will withhold lunch from your child if they are not acting right. I have been in childcare for YEARS, so when I had availability to babysit, the girl told me she was so hungry and that she didn't get to eat anything.. I asked, well did you get lunch? She said no, they made me sit in the office, I never got lunch. They run the daycare like its a military school. Gotta take your orders or you get sent home. They just look for an opportunity to send your kid home and make that money off the parents.

I currently have 3 children at World Around Us Child Care! I have had the best 3 years of quality child care services for my children! My wife and I are extremely happy with the care and education they receive! The owner Rebecca is so easy to talk with and always listens and acts on any questions/concerns about our kids! The teachers are so warm and loving! My kids love attending daily and my wife and I love the care they receive! We stop in all the time and have lunch with our kids and the teachers! It is great to see all their friends eat! Highest quality child care center in the area! I highly recommend to check them out! You will love it!

I currently have a two year old enrolled in the toddler classroom. The toddler room teacher, Ms. Linda, is exceptional and she is very caring toward my child. When I drop off my child it is always a good experience. Also, my child has been making great strides in potty training with lots of help from the staff at World Around Us.

WAU cares more about your money than your child. When I brought certain issues to the owner Rebecca's attention she never looked into them & always sided with the teachers. School aides are hired instead of teachers but, tuition was never discounted. They lose your childs blankets, clothes, etc. & blame the parents. When they realize they are wong and find your belongings they do not apologize. I witnessed a child on a lengthy time out as I was having a discussion with the teacher. When I finally mentioned it to the teacher she said "opps I totally forgot." (The child was 2?!) My child forgot winter gloves & instead of calling me to drop gloves off they made him watch indoors as all the kids played outside?! My child said he was "sad he didn't get to play". (My heart broke for him) I would pull into the parking lot of the facility and my child would start screaming and crying. I literally had to drag him into WAU. I figured it was his seperation anxiety with no coping strategies or help from the teachers. They assured me he would settle down 5-10 minutes after I left and I believed it. Until, I ended up spying on the classroom (thankfully they have cameras in all the rooms and you can watch your child at the front office).  I could hear my child screaming mommy as he stood at the door waiting for me to return. I KNOW the teacher thought I left the facility but my mother and I stood and watched as both teachers literally walked around him and past him and not once did they offer a toy, a hug, etc. until he settled himself down. I WAS BEYOND PISSED! I paid these people to CARE for my child NOT neglect a 2 year old child.  After witnessing my child being neglected I pulled him out immediately. I regret making my child attend daycare here and I regret not listening to my intuition. He is literally scarred from the lack of compassion the facility has for kids. I'm doing everything in my power to make sure this doesn't happen to your child. Consider yourself warned. Oh and search DUI offenders.com the owner is a convicted DUI offender.
