My Son and I came to Enchanted Jungle in the summer of '12. I am the director of daycare center in south windsor, and was in need of a center in colchester since he would be starting kindergarten there. He was having some pretty serious behavior issues and had been dismissed by his daycare that we were using at the time. I came to Enchanted Jungle for a tour and immediately felt welcomed, they were compassionate and kind towards my son and ensured us they would work with him and not turn their backs on him. It took a few months, but the outstanding Pre-k/preschool teachers and the management got him to a very good place, were he trusted the staff and felt loved. They communicated very well with me and kept a log for his therapist. They found alternative strategies to calm him down in a temper tantrum and to keep him engaged. I have never seen such wonderful support from a daycare center. My son still goes to Enchanted Jungle for before and after school. I love that when we walk in we are greeted by each teacher with a kind smile and a hello. The projects they do with the children are appropriate and creative. The teachers have a great energy and the management is exceptional. I would highly recommend this center to anyone!
