I have used this provider for more than 6 months

I currently have a daughter who attends day care here as well as having had 4 foster children attend here. This day care has an atmosphere of family. The staff are friendly, nurturing and very conscientious in what they do. I drive out of my way to take my daughter here.

I love how the caregivers are attentive and loving to my child. One of her teacher's texts me to see if she's coming to make sure they put up a plate of food for her. Whenever she hurts herself, they are knowledgable and able to tell me why happened. I know that my daughter is a rough houser so I'm not so tough on them about self inflicted wounds. There are things that I do not like, such as their vacation policy. They some times take a week off around the holidays, which would be ok if my job would let me do the same. We do not have family here to assist us during the weeks that they take off during the year. The female Director isn't very friendly and on nights when Ive gone to pick my child up, she seems to be overwhelmed. My husband works in Lumberton and I work in Fayetteville, with his hours being all over the place it was a bit of a challenge to get them to understand why sometimes she would come in so late or be picked up at around 7:30-8pm. We have expressed that we live in Fayetteville, so it made no sense to leave home so early just to have her there by 9, or on days where my husband works until 10 and I drive from Fayetteville to pick her up after I get off, I'm there after 7. The male Director and every one else seem to understand it, but she doesn't. With the exception of her attitude/personality and their vacation policy its a great place for your little one to develop.

My child received a lot of injuries while in at this center from items in the classrooms. I would always be told things like that happens sometimes. WELL, since my child has been in another center for over a year now, she has not had a single injury. I highly recommend you find another center and not subject your child to the neglect here.
