If you asked me two years ago, I would have absolutely recommended this school. There are some phenomenal teachers at this location that truly care about your children. To the contrary, I have run across a few teachers who are clearly just there to collect a paycheck and have no clue how to TEACH CHILDREN nor do they appear to care for the children. The administrators aren't much better (specifically, the Director). My husband and I are very engaged parents who work very hard to ensure that our children are raised right. If there's a problem at school, we want to deal with it head on. The issue is, we found that our when we tried to ask the Director questions, we could never get any answers! There have been numerous issues that we have raised as concerns and they are disregarded. For example, the location is next to a huge retention pond with a horrible mosquito problem. One summer, my oldest came home with over 30 mosquito bites! We raised this issue to the director in hope that there would be more consistent spraying of the playground. We ended up having to take matters into our own hands for the safety of our children. Additionally, she is quick to blame the child vs. work to understand what may be causing the child to act in a certain manner. She is also very quick to label children as well as mischaracterize facts. Finally, there have been multiple rounds of hand-foot-mouth disease at this location which has made me question how well they are scrubbing the facility. And anyone who thinks that the food is still organic is sadly mistaken. That lasted about 6 months. Would I recommend them...I think NOT. Pass on this one.

I would not recommend this school. I asked 2 of the teachers directly if they had a bachelors degree and both of my child's teachers stated that they do not. Yet the director told me that all teachers are required to have a minimum 4 year degree. I have witnessed my child's teacher frequently become frustrated and I question her teaching ability. Do not send your child to the South Barrington location. They claim to serve organic food, yet my child tells me he eats barbeque chicken, french fries (pototato wedges is what the school calls them), pizza, etc. Organic doesn't mean low-fat or low-sodium.

I am glad with Creme its staff and facility. Only after 2 weeks of starting day care my daughter was enjoying her school. The facility has lots of different room with good activity. It is bit expensive compare to other day care, but I am happy that my LO is not spending the whole day in one room specially in chicago winters. The teachers are very caring and helpful.
