Description: The YWCA Westfield operates the Advantage After School Program held at Westfield Central School. The program is available school days from 2:30 - 5:30. All Middle and High School Students are eligible to attend. Interested students and parents can get more information or get signed up by calling 326-4012 and asking for Michele Meleen. This program includes a healthy snack, homework help, Karate, Patterson Library Activities, Gym Time, Technology Activities, Awareness Theater, Math Club, Prevention Education, fun and games!

|Brief Description: No child can be released from the school-age child care program unsupervised except upon written permission of the child's parent. Such permission must be acceptable to the school-age child care program and should take into consideration such factors as the child's age and maturity, proximity to his or her home, and safety of the neighborhood.|
|Brief Description: The program must immediately notify the parent and Office upon learning of the death, serious incident, serious injury, serious condition, communicable illness, or transportation to a hospital, of a child which occurred while the child was in care at the program or was being transported by the program. A serious incident includes any event in which a child requires medical attention other than routine illness, is left without competent supervision for any period of time, or leaves the program without an approved teacher or designated person.|
