Description: The YWCA Childcare program for infants and toddlers is designed to build a trusting relationship between children and their caregivers. To accomplish this, we use a primary caregiver approach. Each child is assigned to one teacher who is primarily responsible for their care, including communication with the parent. This program enables infants and toddlers to learn about themselves, their feelings, communicating and moving. They also acquire thinking skills in a safe and developmentally appropriate environment.
