YWCA Carol Glassman Donaldson Childcare Center

The YWCA Early Learning Centers create and foster opportunities for the children of the community served to maximize their potential in all areas of development. The goals of each center are to: 1) provide quality childcare in a positive and nurturing atmosphere; 2) provide children and families with support services; 3) provide educational opportunities and improve the health and general welfare of children; 4) encourage professional development to staff hired from the community; and, 5) provide developmental, speech, vision, and hearing screenings and assessments as part of on-going practices. In addition to child development services at fully accredited centers, the YWCA of Greater Miami-Dade offers upscale child drop-in services for children ages 1 through 5 for parents who may need our services while looking for employment, attending a doctor's appointment, appearing before the court, or other adult situations not involving the entire family.
