About the Provider

TeenCamp is designed just for 11-15 year olds. NOBODY does anything like this.

We started Teen Camp in 1988 after realizing that 11 and 12 year olds had different interests than 8 year olds and deserved their own program! Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and the school district recognize the difference at age 11. By this age, young teens talk, think, and act differently, and are ready for a program that respects and challenges them. TeenCamp provides fun, safe, challenging, wholesome, age-appropriate activities for 11 – 15 year olds.

Integrity, Courtesy and Respect are the cornerstones of how TeenCampers treat each other and the community. Each teen is expected to sign a Code of Conduct. Most of our teens find long term friends who stay in touch throughout the year. In addition, we take the opinions of the teens seriously and allow them to have input into the program whenever possible. Within the limits of time, cost and appropriateness, teens can change the program. No one else in our community offers a program for this age group and no one else could do it like this!

TeenCamp typically costs $50 per day or $225 for a full week. There is an additional $10 if you choose to sign up for extended days when we go out for dinner as a group after our trips to Water World and Elitches and $45 in addition to daily charges for the two camping trips. See the registration for a full explanation of charges.
