Welcome to YLA: A Unique Preschool Experience
At Young Linguists Academy, we take pride in being more than just a preschool. We are a community-based immersive learning environment designed to shape well-rounded individuals; also known as "YLA AT SMYRNA", we have evolved into a dynamic space that goes beyond traditional education. Our roots in language learning remain, but our vision has expanded to focus on the whole child, enriching their lives through dual language education and engaging activities rooted in the major domains of early education.

Central to our identity is our commitment to dual language immersion. Through this approach, we aim to not only foster linguistic proficiency but also cultivate a deep appreciation for cultural diversity. Our curriculum seamlessly integrates concepts in both languages, providing a comprehensive foundation for cognitive and linguistic development.
YLA AT SMYRNA kids are immersed in the Spanish language and learning through meaningful play-based experiences on topics from their everyday lives. We’ve adopted a whole-child approach to learning that not only focuses on building your child’s understanding and use of Spanish as a second language, but also emphasizes the importance of character, confidence, creativity, and critical-thinking skills.
Exposure to multiple languages and various cultures to enhance their understanding and appreciation of cultural diversity.
Motivation to participate in social and civic activities to enhance classroom learning and strengthen their skills in critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity.
