Description: Sandy Grade YMCA currently offers a variety of fun activities that help children develop their academic and social skills in an enriching atmosphere. Educational and recreational opportunities are offered in an environment that allows children to develop at their own pace, working independently and in a group setting. The YMCA five core values of love, respect, honesty, responsibility, and service are pillars in our daily curriculum and schedule. The Sandy YMCA visits the Sandy Library on early release Wednesdays. When students enroll in after school enrichment the YMCA takes note of all enrollments and ensures students get back to the child care program when enrichment has ended.
All Day Child Care provided off site on no-school days and Winter, Spring and Summer Day Camps at Portland Lutheran School.
With the support of Oregon Trail School District Transportation, students from Firwood Elementary and Oregon Trail Academy attend this program.
