Description: The goal of the Y Afterschool Program is to ensure safety for children (grades Kinder – 5th Grade), while promoting healthy physical and emotional growth, helping working families and inspiring children to learn. We strive to help each child reach their full potential by offering a positive and enriching environment that encourages the development of character, leadership and cooperative spirit. We offer care after school until 6:30 p.m. and all-day care on most school holidays, including summer.

We encourage families to contact the daycare provider directly with any questions or concerns, as the provider may have already addressed some or all issues. I love and trust the YMCA at Mitchell elementary school 100% with my son. I could be paying a lot less but I would never think of taking him anywhere else. Sandra is amazing and the other lady that is there every morning during school. I love them both!!!! Thank u, Tatum Surratt
