Children in our programs are cared for in a warm, caring and safe environment. Staff are well trained in Early Childhood Education and follow age-appropriate lesson plans that have been developed to stimulate not only a child's mind but provide a fun and creative day. Infants and toddlers in our care receive the nurturing and interaction they need along with play designed to help build their development. The Early Childhood curriculum is designed around the Creative Curriculum?. Creative Curriculum? is an educational component with lesson plans that support each child's physical, intellectual, emotional, social and language development. The curriculum is integrated with the Ohio Department of Education Early Learning Standards. Our well-trained, caring staff is our greatest asset. Our child care providers are well educated, carefully selected, and the YMCA/JCC performs detailed background checks on all child care staff. Our programs are licensed by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services and meet or exceed state standards.
