Description: Afterschool at the Y is about knowledge-building activities, character development and guidance and encouragement to help children develop and realize their potential. That makes for confident kids today and contributing and engaged adults tomorrow. We're here for you with high quality, affordable activities and programs that focus on science, arts, reading and sports - challenging kids and stretching their imaginations. We offer programs at your child's school or the Y, before and after school, on non-school days and all summer long. Our five campuses in South King County are staffed by Christian teachers who are committed to teaching Christ not only in Bible classes and chapel, but in every academic subject, our athletic and music programs, and in all extra-curricular activities. Christian teachers and peers create an environment that cultivates a heart of faith and encourages growth in your child's personal relationship with Christ. Give your child the chance to put their faith in action by participating in service projects and mission trips. Chapel, Bible classes, and an integrated curriculum help your child develop an intellectual knowledge of God and His Word.
