I was an employee at this facility for a year last year. There was some really amazing staff there. Most staff moved on to find a better job, most staff would work from 6am to 6:30pm and get paid 8.15 some made 9.00. You were under appreciated and if you needed time off for anything or needed a sick day you would be guilt tripped . If you left you would recieve rude harassing text messages of how awful of a person you were ect. During the summer they run a camp for children k-5 and the way it was ran was HORRIBLE. Children and some staff were made to stay outside with no one allowed to enter back into the building per the head . In 90+ degree weather and no water for 2-3 hrs. The main facility is just as bad now . A staff member was fired for leaving welts on a child . Another staff member allowed a toddler child to scale a fence out into the front of the building with the street being right out front. Another staff member forgot a child outside on the toddler playground for at least an hour. Then another staff member was fired then rehired after leaving VISABLE bruising on a child. These incidents were not reported to state. The building is full of mold and unsafe conditions. The good reviews they have were done when they offered cash money to staff for good reviews. PLEASE do NOT take your child here . They need shut down.
This daycare cannot keep staff and is very inconsistent with their staffing. We never knew who my kids teachers were going to be in the preschool and pre-k classrooms. Sometimes we would only see a teacher one time then never again. It got so bad that I went to the administrator about it and her response was well they just can't keep staff. Every time I went to drop off or pick up the teachers just had the kids sitting in front of a TV. I felt like the teachers did not even want to be there. A teacher got caught spanking my child and had to be turned in to the state. The facility is very poorly taken care of. The preschool classroom is in the basement and the stairs leading outside to the playground are literally rusting away. This daycare has a history of being on monitoring status with the state for non-compliance.
