Description: This jewel is tucked away back near the exit of Veterans Memorial Field off Erie Street. It was newly renovated in 2009 with fresh paint, new flooring, and refurbished mechanical systems. A safe, shaded and fenced play area is equipped with new and familiar play structures and toys. This center offers an early childhood development center for ages 3 to 5 years that includes a 2.5 hour preschool with accompanying care Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM. Theÿ"Creative Curriculum"ÿis followed with the classroom set up in theme-based centers. Parent-teacher conferences are provided and all lesson plans are aligned with Early Learning Content Standards (Ohio Dept. of Education.) During the summer, the children help tend a garden and also swim at Plummer Pool. A packed lunch is needed. Year-round care is provided. Daily and weekly rates are available with one day per week minimum fee required. This site has a Two-Star rating by Ohio's Step-Up-To-Quality program.
