Description: Welcome to the homepage of Woodbury Grammar School. Woodbury Grammar is a Pre-K through eighth grade school that has approximately 480 students. W.G.S. is located in the heart of downtown Woodbury.
Our school is a member of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. We go through a vigorous process every four years to maintain this accrediation.The association strives for educational excellence among its schools.
Our school is also very fortunate to house one of the State Lottery Preschool Programs. This class serves children who are four years of age and who meet eligibility requirements. We offer many extracurricular activities for our students. We have a chapter of the Junior Beta Club, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and Student Council. We also offer boys and girls basketball and cheerleading. Football is offered through a county wide program. As you can see Woodbury Grammar has a lot to offer its students. Almost 100% of our staff is Highly Qualified and over 50% have advanced degrees. Our goal is to provide our students with with an education that will enable them to beresponsible, successful adults.
