I have used this provider for more than 6 months
I absolutely LOVE all the teachers, but the management needs a clean sweep, or there needs to be NEW owners. The current manager/director/whatever her official title is, Shelly, is only worried about money and not the well being of the children. BEWARE! This is so sad, as my children were forced to no longer attend due to the fact Windmill was not correctly billing for my daughter and they were not paid by CCAP because of it. The owner decided all of a sudden to just STOP taking CCAP altogether because she did not see any profit in it. Which in turn created multitudinous conflicts and unnecessary circumstances for all the families affected. How do you force a child out of a program they have been in for years and made so much progress in, and not have any empathy about it????? OH! because MONEY! Our options were to pay full price @ $283 per week for daycare and afterschool care, or part ways. It is really stressful and such a disservice to a child to kick them out of a day care center because you, the owner, cannot bill correctly This is not the family's fault. ESPECIALLY when these children have attended Windmill for almost 2 years and it was the 1st place they knew upon moving here from across the country. KIDS ARE MORE IMPORTANT THAN MONEY! You can't just uproot children all the time and expect it not to negatively affect them. IT IS EXTREMELY SAD HOW ADULTS CAN BE SO GREEDY AND ENVELOPED IN MONEY SOMETIMES--IT BLINDS THEM TO WHAT IS REALLY IMPORTANT IN LIFE. Again, the teachers in this establishment are phenomenal! Just be wary of your finances with this place, and READ ALL THE FINE PRINT ON THE FORMS! They ask you to sign next to where it says they can discontinue child care at any time... BE CAUTIOUS because they will kick your child out when it benefits them! Also, the employee turnover rate should be proof enough in itself. **This was my experience during the 1st week of February 2018**
