Teachers in 3-4 year old room lack experience and are lazy. Not trained in child development, use lots of time outs rather than working through issues positively. Negative notes sent home daily regarding your child's behavior, which is developmentally appropriate (not standing in line, not sitting still, climbing up the slide, not wanting to color, etc.) Classes are out of control due to the laziness of the teachers. Teachers expect the children to sit still constantly, stand in line for 15 or more minutes, sit and read a book for 15-20 minutes. This is unrealistic for the age group of the children and causes children to explore and act out. Children don't get enough physical activity throughout the day. Circle time doesn't incorporate movement, children are expected to sit the entire time and if they don't, are punished.
