I have used this provider for more than 6 months

My son was transferred to this location after countless bruises and a broken arm at the last one. I went to pick up any and all incident reports from the facility and was told I dont hahe the right because my son's mother changed the paperwork. I informed them of ferpa and the law and went ahead and openes an investigation.

I have my child enrolled there and although his teacher is great the school itself needs alot updating and a serious cleaning. I kept track of how often they vacummed a particular floor in the school, it was over 2 months that room was cleaned. There is no security, 2 teachers speak "street and ebonics" which is totally inappropriate in my opinion to the children and one teacher is almost a big bully towards the children. I really cannot see how a person can maintain employment there who speaks that way to children, texting all the time, and does not clean. There are not age appropriate toys and books throught the building, everything looks like it was salvaged in the classrooms, dents are all in the walls which need a major painting job, the childrens bathrooms never have soap or paper towels, and around the sink's there is rust and buildup. There are no low profile doors or seperate bathroom's for boys and girls. For instance my childs school bathroom has 2 doors. One from the classroom which can be closed but it never is so anytime you walk by there is a child standing there or sitting using the bathroom and there is another door which is a glass door leading to the play area out back. So anyone can see my child using the restroom. The play area lacks alot and every toy out there seems very old and ragged. This school somehow is a five star school but walk through it and then walk through building blocks or kidsrkids and you will see the big differences. One good thing I can say about this school is that almost everyone is super friendly but with them getting a subsidy from a more at four program and with the enrollment there should be enough money to fix this center up. In my opinion there are no excuses acceptable. My child will be pulled out and placed at building blocks.

I have been trying to receive a curriculum for my 4 yr. old son who attends there who is in Pre-K. I haven't received one yet and I have been asking for months now. Contemplating on taking him out due to him not learning like I think he should. He is always coming home with papers from coloring and craft items. It is time for him to start preparing for kindergarten. Thank God I work with him at home.
