About the Provider
We invite you to explore our website to learn more about Montessori education and Whole Child! Since 1983, Whole Child Montessori Center of Portland, Oregon has offered children 3-6 years of age the opportunity to explore and embrace natural learning under the guidance of highly qualified, dedicated teachers. We honor the importance of the collaborative spirit and are not simply a preschool, but a vibrant community of children, parents and educators. Our school consists of two beautiful and carefully appointed mixed-age classrooms complemented by a lush children’s garden located in the Woodstock neighborhood of SE Portland (map). We draw children and families from all four quadrants of the city with our outstanding reputation for providing a professional, respectful and nurturing environment dedicated to authentic Montessori practice (Association Montessori Internationale/AMI).
