About the Provider

West Woods' mission is to inspire all children to reach their fullest individual potential, develop an independent passion for learning, and foster global responsibility and citizenship. We are a "high performing" school, and we continue to find ways to improve. With a focus on differentiated instruction and higher order thinking, our school uses Thinking Maps, cross-curricular writing and embedded technology in all content areas. West Woods aims to provide a learning culture in which each child feels valued, respects others, has confidence in his or her individual talents, and achieves academic excellence as measured by state and national standards.
