There were not enough trains or tracks available for all children to play without long periods of waiting. There was not a sufficient amounts of tracks or trains for children to create tracks and run their trains on the tracks. In a room adjacent to the Pre-K room, there was a group of 7 three-year-old children. There were no toys out for children to use. All toys were put away. When asked, staff explained that there was not enough room for centers or toys to be out because the space is used for napping.

Correction Required: Play equipment and materials appropriate to the developmental needs, individual interests and ages of the children shall be provided in sufficient amount and variety to preclude long waits for use.

Our Management has reiterated our expected standards and regulations with our staff.
