Inspiring Children

In everything we do at Weekday, we consider the whole child. We understand that each student comes into the classroom with ideas and questions that play a huge role in the ways in which they engage with the curriculum. We welcome their thoughts and their perspectives because we know that students are motivated to delve deeply into academics when they feel a connection to the material. Our exceptional teachers know how to bring excitement and wonder to each subject they teach, and they know how to present material in ways that inspire children to learn more.

Children are seen and heard

At Weekday, all children are valued for being exactly who they are. The elementary school years are such a pivotal time in life. The foundation we create now will stay with each child throughout their lives, whether that is the cultivation of strong reading, writing, and researching skills or the ability to identify, express, and manage one’s deepest emotions. We want children to develop a strong, growth mindset so they will understand on the deepest level that they are capable of meeting challenges, even when the solutions are not immediately clear. We want children to develop emotional resilience, so that they can manage the stressors that come their way as they grow. The nurturing, exciting, and supportive school environment we have built here at Weekday allows children to discover their deepest potential.
