The staff of Waverly School strives to create and maintain a safe, positive, rigorous learning environment that empowers our scholars to achieve their fullest academic, social, and emotional learning potential and succeed in society. Waverly School teachers comprise a professional learning community where they routinely collaborate in teams to plan, teach, and assess learning for the purpose of individualizing instruction to meet the diverse needs of all scholars.
Our staff recognizes that scholars learn best when they feel physically, socially and emotionally safe. We are committed to promoting a school climate that optimizes safe conditions for learning and high expectations for all.
