About the Provider
Educational, health, and child care services are provided to children each year throughout L.A. County in our Head Start and Early Head Start programs. For children under three years of age and their parents we offer EARLY EDUCATION, CHILD DEVELOPMENT, NUTRITION AND PARENTING SUPPORT. Those ages three to five also receive preparation for elementary school. Click here to view our Annual Report.
We serve 160 children annually in our child care programs. Our General Child Care programs for pre-school students between the ages of two and five and our After School Care programs for those enrolled in kindergarten through the fifth grade provide EDUCATIONAL, ARTISTIC, AND PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES for the children of low-income families.
The developmentally disabled have such a challenging path – and too little is said of those who have dedicated their lives to watching over them. Our in-home Caregiver Services provides much needed RESPITE AND RELIEF from these efforts for as many as 500 L.A. families annually, enabling primary caregivers to have the time to take care of other needs and REGENERATE THEIR SPIRITS.
We prepare 4,000 NUTRITIOUS MEALS A DAY in three commercial kitchens we own and operate, delivering them to every child enrolled in VOALA programs throughout Greater Los Angeles.
