Martha & Mary Vinland School Age Program (Martha and Mary Lutheran Services)

Children are the focus of everything we do. At Vinland Elementary, quality education is a shared responsibility. We value academic excellence, hard work, diversity, and one another. Vinland Elementary opened in the fall of 1994 with 24 classrooms on an 18.8 acre site. Our award winning design configures the school into four pods of six classrooms each, with an additional six portable classrooms. Our facility includes a library, computer lab, gym with climbing wall, multi-purpose room, and music and art rooms. Each of our classrooms has from 4-6 networked on-line computers. Some teachers at Vinland remain with the same students for two years (grades 1-2, 3-4) in our looping rotation. We also require students to wear school uniforms to create a climate of inclusiveness and maintain a focus on learning.
