Description: Vinewood Community Preschool was established in 1987. During this time the school has been able to support, teach, train, and serve thousands of children and their families. Tina Leach serves as the Director and Debi Hyzdu is Co- Director. Enrolling over 80 students each year, the Preschool provides a quality early childhood education experience with a spiritual foundation. The Monday/Wednesday/Friday program is for children who will be entering Kindergarten the following year. Each Friday is “Pre-Kindergarten Day” and all activities are structured for Kindergarten readiness. The Tuesday/Thursday program is for children who are four years old and younger (and potty-trained). Both programs are geared to meet the children’s specific social, emotional, intellectual, physical and spiritual needs. The daily schedule of activities relates to weekly themes such as “Apples”, “Dinosaurs”, “Community Helpers”, etc. Bible stories are told on a regular basis and Chapel time is held once month in the Vinewood Community Church sanctuary. The Preschool has teamed up with Wendy Alexander from “Kindermusik” and our preschoolers receive 2 sessions with “Miss Wendy” every month.
