When my wife and I moved from West Des Moines to St. Charles, IA we decided to fine a more convenient daycare so we told Vine Street our 11 month old son would be leaving. They told me I needed to give a 2 week notice to get my deposit back, I said that was fine. They came back and said too late we filled your sons spot already so it will have to be 1 week notice but we will still give your deposit back. Then on Monday of his last week I get an email saying because I have a late fee from a payment in December my Son was no longer welcome at Vine Street AND I would be forfeiting my deposit.
Prior to all of this my son was bitten (3 times in the face) at 8 months old when he was bumped to the 1 year old room (without my permssion) because they were overbooked in the infant room.
He had 3 incident reports in 1 day at 9 months because they weren't watching and someone opened the baby gate on him.
Overall extremely dissapointed in Vine Street.
