All equipment and furnishings were not in good repair. The playground structure used by village two has rusting areas on the climb tunnel, chipping paint on some of the poles supporting the structure and inadequate amounts of mulch under one slide. The Administrator advised all teachers not to allow the children to play on the structure and will block off entrances until further notice. | |||

This school went to great to horrible over night. I have been longing to write a review, but have been waiting to until my child was taking out of the system. My child had been at this school for a year and a half. From day one nothing was ever like what we were told to expect. We were told that our child would be in a class with a teacher that will follow them through the end of Pre-K. My child has had 13 different teachers since her first day. The turn over rate is ridiculous for a child care center where children need stability, they are at that center more than anywhere else during the week. We dealt with the teachers changing because it wasn't worth moving schools over. However, after a few months during heavy rain falls I became very aware of the smell of mold. I became concerned for my child who has severe allergies. I had spoken to a few directors about my concerns, I also made phone calls to follow up. They assured me there is nothing to be worried about that there is no mold issue, though they ran fans in hall ways after rain days. Another concern of my at this school was when my child was being inappropriately touched by another boy. I was assured that records were kept, other child's parents would be made aware, the child(ren) and my daughter would be separated. The incident happened on 4 different occasions, not until I threatened to call the cops was anything ever done. come to find out, no records were kept, other child's parents were never aware of this behavior and during the day my child was still in the same classes of the other child(ren).
Days since our last dispute with this school, the School director, assistant director and a few teacher have been let go or resigned. The only person I have praise for is Ms. Zenia. She has been a great support for the class that has had 13 teachers in a year and a half. She has taken her class under her wing as her own. She is beyond dedicated to all of her children in class. She has helped these children tremendously in just the little time she has been with them!!
When we first started near the beginning of 2015, everything was great. Shortly after, however, Village Kids got switched to Cadence Education. From that point on, things started going down hill fast. The ladies up front were always fake and superficial acting, but it grew to the point of them being flat ride at times right before we left. The overall lack for safety reached its crest when our son could have been killed due to the cook feeding him a known and confirmed severe allergy food. (And it wasn't a new allergy. It was just pure negligence on her part.) I've witnessed teachers talking and not paying attention to children outside, the "healthy" snacks of literally a square of processed cheese and more importantly overheard teachers in the parking lot telling other parents to leave because they'd never subject their children to that place and they were looking for employment elsewhere. There are a few really good, nurturing teachers that we've experienced, however, the negatives just kept piling up and after the allergy incident we pulled him out. Please look into other daycares before considering this one if possible. It's just not worth the risk!
