Description: James Vernor Elementary School has been graded an “A” on our School Report Card by the Michigan Department of Education. We are a neighborhood school where all adults work together to ensure that all students master the essential academic skills necessary for a successful life. We foster an environment of high academic expectations centered on the educational values of the educational three R’s: rigor, relevance and relationships (Academic rigor, relevant to today’s child, built upon our relationships with the Vernor School Community).
