Description: valley Preparatory School was founded in 1957 as an independent, nonprofit coeducational day school. The school was established by a group of parents interested in providing a challenging academic program to area students who were willing and able to take advantage of this kind of experience. In 1982, the school became a fully accredited independent school and a member of the California Association of Independent Schools. Thus, Valley Preparatory enhanced its original purpose with an additional commitment to provide its students with a well-rounded college preparatory academic program.
