I wish I could give 0 stars. If you are a concerned parent, definitely do not think about this daycare setting. Of course, I will call and check on my nine-month-old, who has never been in a daycare setting with total strangers. Still, I was told not by the Director but another staff bc the Director cowardly could not face me and tell me that we wouldn't be a good fit for the program, but I firmly believe it was my occupation that was a concern. The babies are placed in bouncers without any toys or entertainment, left crying for long periods, and staff is simply there to collect a check. I'm happy I was not a good fit bc this was not a place I was seeking for long-term care, and after one day, I knew it wasn't a good fit. I will definitely be requesting DCFS check on the infants bc clearly neglect is exhibited. Still, unfortunately, parents who rely on childcare have no choice but to leave their child there bc I know for sure, as a self-paying parent, this place is not an idea for my child.
I rated this daycare below a one..I had to find a daycare because my kids recent daycare was closing.I thought I would love this daycare but this is the worse ran daycare in history..My oldest child never liked to stay and she also reported to me that another girl was hitting on her..I tried to understand that maybe that's just kids being kids,but what really made me upset is that my 8 month old had to bites in her face and no one could tell me where it come from then the next day she had a sracth in her face once again nobody could tell me where this come from..The babies are left on a dirty floor to crawl around and play and left unattended as parents go in and out the door which is not safe..When picking up my kids in the evening it clearly looks like my kids have been playing in dirt..I could never log on the camera because they never work..They attend that Monday and Friday was their last day.Didn't even care about taken the supplies I brought..This was the worse daycare ever...
After the horrific weather here my son lost his babysitter, I took a tour of the place and signed him up that same day. That following Monday was his first and LAST day at this facility. I was able to watch on camera as another child was pushing him down and an older child had to scold that boy to make him stop while the workers were directly behind them with their backs towards them. I finished my work day and went to pick him up and he was in the nursery screaming crying which I then went to pick him up to find he had food ALL in his hair and a mark on his face. I asked the worker that was standing there and she proceeded to tell me "they" told her he fell asleep and woke up with it on his face. My child is not even a year old and since he's been born he had never fell asleep and woke up with a mark like that or any other on his face...that mark stayed there for 4 days. I proceeded to leave and there wasn't a single worker there to tell me how his first day was, when he ate last, or even if he had a dirty diaper. I went in the next day to get his stuff and explained why he would not be returning which I was then told to come back at lunch to talk to the owner. I spend my lunch break from work driving up there to find out the owner isn't even there and not just that he went in with a necklace on and when I asked the lady that took it off where it was she just said "I lost it." No I'm sorry, no can we reimburse u to get another one...just in lost it. I know as a mother there is nothing like a piece of mind when u have to work and he away from your child...but this place was anything BUT that. I have never felt so angry and disrespected in my life...I was never contacted by the owner to show her the picture of my child's face and never given an apology for what happened to him or the necklace...so if your looking for a place where u know your child is in good hands, u may want to look somewhere else!
