Welcome to Unioto Elementary!

Our vision at Unioto Elementary is by inspiring greatness, all students will realize their worth and potential. We want to enable each student to be a self-sufficient, adaptable, confident, and productive citizen. This will ensure each individual the opportunity to effectively meet the academic, social, and technological challenges of the 21st century.

Our staff believes the purpose of education is to provide learning opportunities that promote students' intellectual, social, physical, moral and technological growth. As a result, we are constantly striving to enhance both our programs and our instructional strategies to ensure student achievement.

Our faculty strives to provide opportunities for all students to be actively engaged in the learning process by using hands-on activities and cooperative learning in addition to the traditional methods. These methods stress the use of higher-level thinking skills, problem solving, and independent learning opportunities for our students.

We believe that students, parents, and staff must all work together to insure students receive the best education possible. Therefore, we strongly encourage and support parent/community involvement.
