Description: Union Center Daycare and Preschool is an Unlicensed Registry Ministry. We were established in June of 1996 to service the needs in the community of a quality Christian based childcare program. We strive to meet all the needs that are in the community that we serve. We are an outreach program of Union Center Church of the Brethren. We have a staff that is committed to provide a quality education to the young children of the community to provide them with the Kindergarten readiness skills that they will need. Please see our program page with more information about the curriculum that we use.
Where possible, ChildcareCenter provides inspection reports as a service to families. This information is deemed reliable, but is not guaranteed. We encourage families to contact the daycare provider directly with any questions or concerns, as the provider may have already addressed some or all issues. I am a very particular mom who thoroughly investigated several well-known, very reputable daycares between Elkhart and Nappanee when looking for full-time child care for my 6 month old. I stumbled upon Union Center and after a walk through, knew immediately that this daycare was far superior than the others I had visited. That very day I enrolled my child and could not be happier! The staff are friendly, professional, well trained, and really care about the children. The facility is clean, well maintained, and money is put back into the facility (i.e. new carpet, playground equipment, etc). The building is secure and all visitors must be buzzed in. The curriculum is fun, interactive, & educational. I could go on and on... I am truly blessed to have found such a wonderful daycare!
