I have used this provider for less than 6 months

She’s an abusive, deranged maniac. She’s cared for kids for decades now and it ended with mine only a couple years ago. The rest of them might’ve been too little to know better or even speak but as that population ages, she’s been indicated for multiple neglectful and abusive acts against vulnerable populations.

This daycare, sitter, caregiver went to court and had her license revoked. She attempted to watch kids again and it made news reports on kctv earlier this year. They will never reinstate this woman and the next time they catch her supervising children, they need to let the punishment fit the crime because how many children have to be bruised or worse (which they have.) No more fines; do not pass GO.

If she offers you a spot at her house, call DCF and report it and anyone else who referred you because they all know better by now.

I have used this provider for less than 6 months

Debbie is an excellent childcare provider and I recommend her to anyone. My husband and I were needing someone to watch our son once I returned to work 3 months after our son was born...and until a spot opened up at the CDC on Fort Leavenworth (waitlisted for 5 months). Our son has been going to her since he was 3 months old and he is now 7 months old. He always smiles and laughs with Debbie when we drop him off, and he's always calm and never crying when we pick him. I appreciate the quality time she spends with him, always tending to his needs and helping him reach developmental milestones. She is organized, her house is always clean/spotless, and she is responsive when trying to reach her via phone or email. Debbie has two small dogs which are friendly and are great with kids. I have a large myself and I don’t mind that she has a pet in the house. Her husband is very pleasant and is there to assist after he gets off work. As a first time parent and former childcare center employee, I was reserved with whom I entrusted my son. Based on my own experience working in childcare, I maintain a certain level of expectations for the environment I place my only child in, and the professionalism of the provider. I now have a little bit longer commute in the morning to and from the Army base but it’s worth it knowing my son is safe and being well taken care of. You can't put a price on peace of mind.

I have toured this provider's facility, but have not used its services

No way would I let my child stay here. House smells of smoke, children are not talked nice to and a pet rat runs around. House and toys were not clean. I left this visit and was so upset at what I saw that I cried for those children. Debbie list her husband as help but he works so isn't there to assist with kids. She was not able to answer simple questions with real answers...just got "that's required by the state." This place was def not for us.
