About the Provider
In 1979, Turlock Christian applied for and received their own tax-exempt status, and we are now operated by a board of parents and friends from within the community. Though separately incorporated, we continue to work closely with local evangelical churches.
Our high school began in 1976 with 20 students. We had 261 students in K-9 that year, and in 1980, graduated our first senior class of 21 students.
By 1989, we recognized the growing need in our community for a preschool and opened at the Free Methodist Church. By year's end, we had 36 children. In 1997, we extended our preschool to provide infant/toddler care, and the preschool grew to almost 200 children. In 2001, we added a second preschool at Calvary Baptist Church. The combined enrollment at our preschools is approximately 250 students. Currently, we serve 690 PS-12th grade students from as far away as Dos Palos, Chowchilla, Patterson, and Modesto.
Through our 40+ year history, Turlock Christian has supported itself through tuition, fees, and gifts. We have annual audits made available to the public upon request. Please call the Central Business Office for further information.
