Trinity Preschool

Trinity Preschool is an outreach program of Trinity United Methodist Church.ÿ Trinity Preschool is a non-denominational Christian preschool.ÿ Our curriculum is based on Christian values and proven research of developmentally appropriate practices for preschool age children.ÿ Our program provides hands-on activities to create meaningful learning experiences.ÿ Currently Trinity Preschool maintains a One Star award from the Step Up to Quality Program! Children must be 3 years old by June 1st of the current year and be completely potty trained to attend Trinity Preschool. We have Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning and afternoon classes. We also offer a two-day Wednesday and Friday afternoon class. The morning classes meet from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The afternoon classes are from 12:15 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. The daily schedule includes circle time, center time, group activities, story, recall, snack, clean up, and large motor activities. Trinity Preschool believes parent involvement and open communication are key elements of our success. We send monthly newsletters with information about current curriculum and events. The "buzz" is sent home weekly by each teacher to share daily activities. Our students present a program each Fall and Spring. We have lots of visitors and a few field trips to enrich our curriculum throughout the year. Parents receive a progress report each Fall and attend a parent/teacher conference each Spring. Two parents contribute input as members of the Trinity Preschool Board.
