Description: Established the same year as the National Head Start program, in 1965, Tri-County Child & Family works locally. Children and their parents cannot achieve their full potential if they struggle with day to day issues. Obstacles may include lack of access to medical care or a major family crisis. We empower families to help themselves by providing Building Blocks for Success: > Health Services > Social Services > Nutritious Meals > Parent Involvement > Early Childhood Education The parents are the first teachers, so we need to get to know the parents, aunts, uncles or whoever is raising the child. They know their child best so they can let us know what to expect, and what the goals are for the entire family. This is why we involve parents and other caregivers in decisions. Tri-County Child and Family Development programs serve families with children from birth through school age, as well as families expecting a child.
Where possible, ChildcareCenter provides inspection reports as a service to families. This information is deemed reliable, but is not guaranteed. We encourage families to contact the daycare provider directly with any questions or concerns, as the provider may have already addressed some or all issues. Reports can also be verified with your local daycare licensing office.
