I have used this provider for more than 6 months

My child has been attending tree of life for a few years. Although there have been teachers there I really have preferred watching my kids. There are a few issues I have had with the facilities and direction of the daycare. There have been multiple times when I have seen safety issues not being followed. After researching online of sexual-offenders in the near next door neighborhood and with doors of the church's daycare being open during working hours. Making easy availability of children walking out or stranger from sex offenders neighborhood or nearby public trail walking in. There have been multiple times of after fact learning of knits and lice, hands foot and mouth disease or other types of illnesses never being reported to parents and being found out anonymously. I was sent home with other children's poopy clothing and other items that didn't belong to my child, when they were Cleary marked with a sharpie. They often mix older kids with younger children in mornings and evenings never seeming to take care of who's watching and with 20 plus children in gym on parents arrival. Directors emails often consist of a literary book of information never making points of important facts and including information of fundraisers for unknown reasons- making me uncomfortable to give money to unknown causes especially when asking teachers what fundraiser is for with no known answer. Although teachers there have made experience good for me and my children, the direction of the daycare and focus of leader staff seems misguided and with no intent of caring for staff and therefore making the experience for me and my children less than exemplary.

Very annoyed Jun 09, 2014

This daycare would be amazing if the director would actually work and stay on top of things. She is not very involved or aware of all that is happening and she does not seem to have any common sense. There is a girl there (the directors daughter) that gets special treatment and when she is there things seem to revolve around her. All she does is sit. She's pretty much just getting paid to do nothing. Their after school program and summer program for school age children is HORRIBLE and a lot of families have left because of it.
